THOUT - Your Event Escape Room

We wanted to do it better – of course, everyone wants that. But how?
We’ve found a few points that will allow us to get even more out of the escape room experience.

THOUT differs from most other providers in four ways. Firstly, we also offer rooms for larger groups of players. Instead of the classic upper limit of six players, up to twelve adventurers in one room are welcome.

Secondly, we adjust the difficulty of our rooms according to the number of players. This means that there are more puzzles in the same room if you compete in a large group than if there are just two of you.

Thirdly, we want to implement what is known as “environmental storytelling” in our rooms. Our adventures should be authentic and lively and tell a story even in the details. Take a good look around – it’s worth it!

And finally, we give you the opportunity to compete directly with other players. If you select our challenge mode, you have the chance to immortalize yourself in an online leaderboard – as long as you were fast enough.

Our rooms can therefore entertain different types of groups in the best possible way. Be it the family weekend, the next destination of your friends, a bachelor party or team building for your office.

Despite our new approaches, we will continue to develop. Although the term “escape rooms” has become a well-known paraphrase of a young leisure industry for most, we see the potential of themed rooms beyond the recovery of a room key. The possibility of experience spaces is far from exhausted. You’ll create virtual reality without having to clip computer-controlled glasses onto your head.

Interacting with the environment, while supporting a deeply-layered story through a well-chosen setting – that’s the standard by which we measure ourselves.
